One Saturday we suddenly planned to visit Golden Temple (Sripuram) in Vellore, for that we arranged "Tata Sumo" and start our journey from Poonamallee around 1 O'clock in the afternoon. <br /><br />Our vehicle was breakdown before reaching Arcot, slowly reached Arcot and we went to Mechanic Shed near SSS College in bypass. Its taken around 1.30 hours to repair. Again we started our journey from there at 4.30pm and reached Sripuram(Golden Temple). After that we started returning to Chennai around 10pm from Vellore. Our bad time vehicle got some problem and automatically it was stopped again its in the same place Walaja Toll Plaza. <br /><br />We were tried to start it by pulling from the backside and we got tired too. Like this we pulled the Sumo upto 1.5Kms. Its around 11.30pm we didn't find any Mechanic near that place. So, we parked the vehicle in side of road and we slept inside the vehicle. And now its 6.30am in the next cold morning (Sunday), we called mechanic from Kanchipuram and know that he will take 1 hour to reach us. Meanwhile I went to near by paddy field and taken these snaps. It was totally unexpected. <br /><br />Mechanic came around 10am only and he just spent 1mininute to repair the vehicle we are shocked to see it. Coz we spent whole night there itself know. Then we reached poonamallee again at 12 O'clock in the afternoon. One Saturday we suddenly planned to visit Golden Temple (Sripuram) in Vellore, for that we arranged "Tata Sumo" and start our journey from Poonamallee around 1 O'clock in the afternoon. <br /><br />Our vehicle was breakdown before reaching Arcot, slowly reached Arcot and we went to Mechanic Shed near SSS College in bypass. Its taken around 1.30 hours to repair. Again we started our journey from there at 4.30pm and reached Sripuram(Golden Temple). After that we started returning to Chennai around 10pm from Vellore. Our bad time vehicle got some problem and automatically it was stopped again its in the same place Walaja Toll Plaza. <br /><br />We were tried to start it by pulling from the backside and we got tired too. Like this we pulled the Sumo upto 1.5Kms. Its around 11.30pm we didn't find any Mechanic near that place. So, we parked the vehicle in side of road and we slept inside the vehicle. And now its 6.30am in the next cold morning (Sunday), we called mechanic from Kanchipuram and know that he will take 1 hour to reach us. Meanwhile I went to near by paddy field and taken these snaps. It was totally unexpected. <br /><br />Mechanic came around 10am only and he just spent 1mininute to repair the vehicle we are shocked to see it. Coz we spent whole night there itself know. Then we reached poonamallee again at 12 O'clock in the afternoon. Attractions here are the Kollappan lake, a vast expanse of water, where you can ride on a boat for a measly fee. There is also the Bheema falls where, if the fancy takes you, bathing is possible and free. The Thiruvanamalai administration is trying to promote Jamunamarathur as a tourist point, but the cement road to the falls is the only evidence of this. Alangayam and Kavallur (which has a space observatory) are the other places one may visit. A word of caution. You cannot gad about the Javadhi hills without the permission of the Forest Department.
